Moonface's song "Love the House you're in" made me think a bit. About homes. (See this as a warning )
I don't think a house is automatically a home, and neither is any other place. You can go and even live there as much as you want, but still don't think that makes it a home.
However, humans need consistency for security.
And when a place can provide that security, It becomes a home.
In the picture I wanted to show that love for the place you call home can turn any place into a castle, and the lack of it can turn any place into a prison.
For myself, I decided to build my home in my head and my heart - It's private and portable ^^ (Good lord, the corniness XD )
Oookay, to the characters then:
The top one, Solle, is an exceedingly rich prince, and the bottom one, Ravi, is an exceedingly poor peasant with his companion bird Marlow.
In love and happiness though, it's exactly opposite.
At one point in the story, they are both going to leave their homes and eventually meet.
Up to this picture, I never realized what foil these characters are to another - But it works well, so it's okay with me
